ROCKWOOL® Slab 200
|
|
Product:
The hardest and most regid of the Rockwool slabs. Made of impregnated mineral wool.
Application:
For external insulation of normal roof types. Also for use on the top surface of tanks and boilers, and for the insulation of large containers. Can be used in floors with extra heavy load pressure (max. wheel pressure five tonnes).

ROCKWOOL® Fire-Batts
|
|
|
|
|
|
Product:
Semi-regid insulation slabs of specially impregnated mineral wool.
Application:
Capable of withstanding high temperatures over a long period. Used for the insulation of fire-retardant <<A>>class structures in ships and offshore installations.

Working temp:
Max. 750 oC.
Fire resistance:
Fibre melting point 1000 oC.

ROCKWOOL® A-Batts
|
|
Product:
A-Batts are strong, semi-rigid resilient slabs of impregnated mineral wool.
Application:
Used in structural insulation work such as roofing, structures, floors and lightweight walling, and in technical insulation such as tank insulation or comfort insulation on ships.

Working temp:
Max. 250 oC.
Fire resistance:
Fibre melting point 1000 oC.

ROCKWOOL® Wired Mat
|
|
|
|
|
|
Product:
Unimpregnated mineral wool stitched with binding wire to 1" galvanised wire netting. Supplied also with aluminium foil on one side.
Application:
Primarily for insulating at high temperatures. Industrial uses: insulation of steam boilers, central-heating boilers, hot-water cylinders, larger-bore pipes and large surfaces with high temperatures.

Plastic bags.
Working temp:
Max. 1000 oC. If exposed to vibrations max. working temp. is reduced to about 700 oC.
Non combustible in accordance with IMO A 472(XII) and BS 476:4.

|
|
Product:
Unimpregnated mineral wool.
Application:
Insulation of double-walled boilers and packing between pipe and cladding for insulation of bends.

1000 oC. Reduced to 800 oC with structural vibration.
Fire resistance:
Fibre melting point above 1000 oC.
Non combustible.

ROCKWOOL® Lamella Mat
|
|
|
|
|
|
Product:
Mat where the Rockwool fibres are glued at right angles to reinforced aluminium foil and kraft paper laminate.
Application:
A relatively stiff and pressure-stable product that will retain its thickness when wrapped around pipes and ventilation ducts.

Working temp:
Max. 250 oC.
Fire resistance:
Fibre melting point 1000 oC.

Product:
Tubular, pre-moulded insulators of mineral wool. Supplied split along entire length to form two hinged halves.
Application:
Mainly for use in pipe insulation but also for internal/external insulation of circular ducts where fire-protection is necessary.

Working temp:
Max. 650 oC.
Fire resistance:
Fibre melting point 1000 oC.

|

Product:
Rigid insulating slabs faced on one side with fibre glass tissue.
Application:
For acoustic insulation where effective sound absorption is necessary.

ROCKWOOL® Pipe Section Mat
|
|
Product:
Produced from a regid slab provided with V-cuts to close completely around the pipe when mounted. The bevelled lags produced as a result of the cutting are glued to a reinforcement netting.
Application:
Mainly for large diameter pipes, but also for circular ducts with high temperatures.

Plastic wrapping.
Working temp:
Max. 650 oC.
