    Recommended Film Thickness Wet: 3.2mm(1/8") Dry: 1.6mm(1/6").
    Coverage At 1/8 inch thickness (wet) approx. 1.11m2 (12 sq ft) of cable tray surface per gallon (5.6m2 per 5 gal can). One galon covers 6 linear feet (1.8 linear meters) of one foot wide cable tray on both sides.
    Drying Time Dry to touch after 4 hours. Under normal conditions, completely dry in 36 to 48 hours.
    Humidity Resistance Not nulnerable to moisture or humidity, outside or inside.
    Flexibility A FLAMEMASTIC - coated PVC cable of 13 mm diameter may be bent to a 9 cm radius without cracking.
    Aging Flamemastic 77 does not change properties through aging. Evidence of 10 to 30 years performance under adverse climatic conditions can be provided.
    Chemical Resistance Flamemastic 77 is impervious to many chemicals. However, considering the variety of possible chemical influences, no general statement can be made. Address specific question to your Flamemastic Distributor.
    Effect of Radiation No significant effect on coating or protective capacity when Flamemastic 77 coated cables were subjected to 3x108 rad of gamma radiation at 5x105 rad per hr. for 600 hrs.
    FLAMEMASTIC has been tested for use in the containment area of nuclear power stations and passed a simulated 30 years radiation exposure test(Franklin Institute, Report No. 5-C 3231).
    Effect on Ampacity No effect at recommended coating thickness.
    Storage Temperature 4oC to 32oC(40oF to 90oF) PROTECT FROM FREEZING
    Shelf Life In closed original container, at room temperature; at least three years.

    The FLAMEMASTIC 77 was subjected to a fire resistance test from THE LOSS PREVENTION COUNCIL(LPC) employing the furnace heating conditions, appropriate procedures and criteria of B.S. 476 : Part 20: 1987 for 180 minutes on 5 October 1988
